“I contacted Andrea when I was looking for waltz privates in preparation to choreograph a waltz heavy show. From the moment we began working together, she was an absolute joy! She came into every session extremely prepared and full of knowledge. She was very clear and patient. She even followed up with emails outlining what we worked on. Andrea is a pro and I can't recommend her enough!”
- Josh Assor, Professional Choreographer
“Andrea fully choreographed and co-directed my music video for ‘Ríe y Llora’ and completely knocked it out of the park… She’s the best of the best. See for yourself!”
-Tony Glausi, Jazz Musician
“Andrea reached to us as a director and choreographer for music video Ríe y Llora. Communicating with Andrea is super easy! everything worked well so we agreed and it was a success.”
-Anna Pelypenko and Valentin Voronov, Professional Latin Dancers
“I was interested in learning how to partner dance salsa and I saw that she offered private lessons. I knew her professionalism in the jazz sphere, so I thought I would try taking lessons. I’m glad to say that I have nothing but the highest recommendation for working with her. She comes eager and prepared to lessons. Andrea works at fast pace, but is kind, patient, and an excellent teacher, so I have been able to grow as a dancer at a pace beyond my expectations. I would recommend her to everyone, and particularly anyone who wants to push themself and have fun doing it!”
-Harrison Singer, Ballroom Student
“We loved how comfortable Andrea made us feel when learning our first dance routine, especially as we are beginners. She did a fantastic job creating custom choreography for us based on our song (Lovely Day - Bill Withers) with specific moves we had requested to be incorporated (dips and twirls). She was patient with us and brought a lot of positive energy that kept us motivated throughout our genuinely fun lessons. Our first dance was a HUGE hit! and we were so proud of ourselves for being able to pull it off (with lots of fun!) - this wouldn't have been possible without Andrea! Would absolutely work with her again!”
-Jill&Alex M, Wedding Dance Couple
“I had the chance to work with Andrea during private ballet lesson, and what immediately sparked my interest was her professional background and the warmth she showed in guiding me. I truly enjoyed the way she combined precise technical corrections with encouragement, which made me feel both challenged and supported. From this experience I learned not only how to refine my technique, but also how to approach the movements with more confidence and artistry. I would absolutely recommend Andrea to every single dancer !”
-Ilaria Sophia Benigni, Ballet Student
“Andrea was a great teacher. We were both total beginners and she was great at building us up step by step until we felt really confident in our routine. I'd recommend her to anyone looking to learn dance!”
-Peter Y, Wedding Dance
“I’m 61 years old and had never ever dared to dance. Thanks to Andrea I am loosing my fears and have felt for the first time in my life rhythm. [Andrea has] patience and empathy that I have never seen before.”
-Jaime I, Ballroom Student
“I hold a doctorate degree in music I am a Theatre performer, a voice teacher, a professional singer, and have produced/directed shows. I had seen and was impressed with Andrea's work. Andrea is a beautiful dancer, but more significantly she understands the ability level of the learner and is able to explain aesthetically, still breaking down the movements so that each step can be achieved before adding on. She has the patience to teach a beginner and I've seen her work with advanced dancers who also benefit from her artistry and her exemplary demeanor. I never have loved dancing more!”
- Gloria Shafer, Doctorate in Music Education
“She was recommended by one of our favorite theater jazz teachers out of NYC. We were looking for a Ballroom teacher to teach Ballroom foundation and basics and she came highly recommended. Our TOCD Company is so grateful to have been introduced to Andrea! She was easy and professional to work with and she showed up with a passion and love for ballroom that was infectious for our company members big and small. Andrea married the importance of foundation with the fun and energy of a ballroom class! Our students can not wait to work with her again!”
~Jennie Dillon Heneks, Touch of Class Dance Studio: Company Director
“I would definitely recommend her, she’s very patient and great at teaching! I’d been taking classes with her for over 3 years and there’s a very visible improvement in my ballet skills. Aside from her teaching she’s a really nice and inspiring person overall!”
-Ivy Gu, Ballet Student
“[I was drawn to] her openness to share her work and friendly conversational demeanor. I admire her dedication to instruction of a technique she is aware of that usually has limited access. Andrea and i met at a workshop we both attended and she shared that she wanted to give the professional nyc dance community more access to affordable ballroom lessons. This immediately peaked my interest as my experience with ballroom training is limited, due to high expense yet I have high interest. She has a clear goal and takes determined steps towards completing them. I would definitely recommend her to a professional dancer or non dancer alike for basic beginner ballroom and all the way advanced technique. I am learning so much from her even through instagram live lessons! Since this is my first experience learning her choreography, i am glad her teaching still translates well through a screen. She is attentive to the detail of the technique and i appreciate that. I look forward to being in the same room for in person ballroom technique lessons in the future!”
- Marcela Acosta, NYC Dancer
"I admire her musicality and authentic storytelling. Andrea is such a dedicated and present artist. Her passion and joy for dance are palpable and inspiring. As a choreographer, she is gifted and tells beautiful stories with the movement. Her style is her own and uniquely charming. As a Ballroom coach, she is so helpful and clear. She is a fun Instructor and it is evident she is a born artist and dancer and loves to explore and help students grow and become more confident performers.”
~Christopher Makens, NYC Dancer

“I really enjoyed working with Andrea on audition material. She was able to adapt the choreography to showcase my strengths and create a great end product. By sharing her own experience and advice, I was able to learn more about performing and the musical theatre environment. I would definitely recommend Andrea in the future to anyone looking for a great teacher to expand on their training!”
