Choreographer | Director | Producer

 

Andrea Brodine is a Choreographer, Director, and Producer based in New York City.

Originally from Rochester NY, she received training for dance through the Professional Semester Program at Broadway Dance Center and as a Choreographer from Dance Lab New York with Joshua Prince. With a background in competitive Ballroom Dance, Andrea’s choreography specializes in the synthesis of Theatrical Narrative with Ballroom and Latin Dance vocabulary. Andrea frequently works with Jazz Musicians and has Choreographed, Directed, and Produced official music videos for artists including Tony Glausi (“Rie y Llora”), Ada Pasternak (“2024”), and Tony DeSare (“New Orleans Tango”). Andrea has also served as movement director and movement coordinator on stage and music video productions.

Andrea is also a skilled Dance Instructor for all ages and ability levels, from beginner to professional. She instructs private lessons in Ballroom and Latin Dance, Theater Jazz, Ballet, and Creative Movement. Her instruction has been utilized for Wedding Dances, College Auditions, Stage and Movement Coordination, and Coaching. She currently teaches master classes for several dance studios in the NYC and Tri-State areas, as well as serving as a resident teaching artist for NYC schools through DanceWave.

In addition to Choreographing, Directing and Instructing, Andrea also works closely with Jazz musicians and frequently collaborates with other artists and producers to create events based around live entertainment, featuring some of New York’s finest talent.

Andrea’s artistic perspective is inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood and Jazz Music, and it is her goal to create the most elevated experience for each student, artist, and audience member in every performance arena that she is involved in.
